Sandra Burmeister, from Chile, is the co-host of the cultural radio program Women on Radio University of Santiago, Chile (94.5 FM). She is also a theater educator, actress-narrator, writer, and public relations officer.
She graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific in Chile and received early theatrical training from distinguished teachers at the Patricio Achurra and Eduardo Mujica School of Theatre. She later specialized in Theatre Pedagogy at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
In 2015, she published a novel for preteens titled ChapeKa, the Orange Girl, distributed commercially-free to support public libraries.
Currently, she researches, theorizes, and reflects on storytelling as a tool for personal development and as an inspiring agent of cultural identity.
