Omira Bellizzio, from Venezuela, is a poet, writer, and storyteller specializing in reading and creative writing for children and adolescents. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and training in radio speaking from the Central University of Venezuela, as well as a Venezuelan master’s degree in Literature from the University of Carabobo.
She is also a university‑certified expert in reading activities, having graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) in Spain as a Fellow of the Organization of American States (OAS).
Omira produced and hosted the micro‑radio program Poetapop on Cultural FM 104.5 at the University of Carabobo, where she used poetry to engage young audiences in literature.
She is a member of the International Network of Storytellers and has participated in numerous literary festivals and events across multiple countries. Her work includes poetry, children’s books, storytelling performances, and workshops that encourage reading and creativity.
