Katharina Ritter

Katharina Ritter is a storyteller from Germany. She has published five books. After training in commercial fields, she worked in the film industry for over ten years until 1998, when she discovered another form of “filmmaking”: storytelling—the theater of the mind.

Since then, she has traveled across Germany, sharing both borrowed and original stories, developing audio guides and narrative series for museums, publishing audio picture books, and performing continuously—always freely, vividly, and directly.
