Call for storytellers: we look for storytelling videos about immigration

  Hi everybody, Here is a new call by Storytellers for Peace . We look for videos storytelling about immigration for the International Migrants Day on 18th December 2022, a celebration created by the United Nations . We need a not too long video, the limit is 2 minutes with english subtitles on - if your language is not english, of course, and the story’s text in english in a word file o within the email. Call for Storytellers: 30th anniversary of the Berlin wall’s fall

Dear Friends, After Rudyard Kipling ’s If , Imagine , Human Rights Day 2016 , World Storytelling Day 2017 , 2018 , International Day of Nonviolence 2017 and 70th Anniversary Universal Declaration of Human Rights , here we are to the new call.   As you might know, this year will be the 30th anniversary of the Berlin wall’s fall . In my modest opinion, more than ever today, we are watching new and dangerous walls to divide people, breaking hopes, dreams and lives too. Don’t you agree? According to our usual style, I invite you to join us in making a collective video about the new walls between us. The deadline to send the video is the 20th of October 2019 with the usual rule of no music or any sound, just voice, with text of the speech on word or inside the email, and no more than two minutes. Call for Everybody: Declaration of Human Rights 70th Anniversary

Dear Friends, After Rudyard Kipling ’s If , Imagine , Human Rights Day 2016 , World Storytelling Day 2017 , 2018 and International Day of Nonviolence 2017 here we are to a very new call.   As many of you well know, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was signed by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948 . So, this year we are going to celebrate its 70th anniversary . I invite you to join us on this project, open to everybody, whatever your profession might be. If you are interested contact me. Dear Storytellers, After Rudyard Kipling’s If , Imagine , Human Rights Day and World Storytelling Day , here we are to the new project. As many of you well know, on 15 June 2007 the United Nations decided to make 2 October as the International Day of Non-Violence , that is also Mahatma Gandhi ’s birthday, to celebrate this time in " an appropriate manner and disseminate the message of non-violence, including through education and public awareness ." I see storytelling as a wonderful and powerful way to do that, don’t you agree? So, I invite you to tell us how stories may spread and support non-violence in a short video (maximum 1 minute, no sound, no rumors and no subtitles, please) speaking in your first language, sending also the speech’s text with English translation to this email . Call for Storytellers around the world: Imagine...

Dear Storytellers, Rudyard Kipling ’s If video was just the beginning. Well, here is the following step. The 21st of September 2016 will be the International Day of Peace . Working for that event, the name of the call is this: Imagine … Taking inspiration from the famous John Lennon ’s song , I invite you to make a video telling what is your personal dream of peace in your own country, from your point of view. The formula will be for everyone this: I imagine … and so on. The final result will be a collective video of different hopes for a peaceful world, all together as a wonderful puzzle, each one important for the best of all. As Martin Luther King Jr. said : “ Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere .” So, peace, peace everywhere . Send the clip in your first language ( maximum 15 seconds , no sound and no rumors ) with the English translation written in the message to this email . Deadline : September 7, 2016.
