World Water Day 2021 with Storytellers for Peace

World Water Day is a yearly observance created by the United Nations. It is held on 22 March to highlight the importance of fresh water. This year’s theme is Valuing Water . We want to support this fundamental message with our voice. Water is life, water is all of us, water is everything. Ariyrathne (Sri Lanka) Alessandro Ghebreigziabiher (Italy) Suzanne Sandow (Australia)   Storytellers for Peace was born in June 2016. It is an international network of artists, storytellers, authors, actors and musicians who create collective stories through videos. Artists come from all over the world and tell stories about peace, justice, equality and human rights. All participants tell their stories in their first language.

Hi everybody, After Rudyard Kipling’s If , here is the new video by Storytellers for Peace . Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September . The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. The Day’s theme for 2016 is “The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace.” This is the way we imagine to build blocks for peace. Sixteen storytellers from fourteen different nations, speaking in their first language, tell their personal dream of peace for their own countries, from their point of view. The collective video is made of different hopes for a peaceful world, all together as a wonderful puzzle, each one important for the best of all.
